Oleg Cassini

Oleg Cassini was an Italian born American fashion designer who began his career making costumes for Hollywood film studios in the 1940s. After returning to New York, his work expanded to cover television, Broadway musicals and a ready-to-wear collection of dresses. Official designer to Jacqueline Kennedy, the wife of President Kennedy, in the 1960s, his signature looks include the sheath, the A-line dress, and the pill-box hat and, for men, the turtleneck, brightly coloured shirts, and the Nehru jacket.
